September 1893 FC Porto was born, António Nicolau de Almeida, sportsman par excellence and expert Port Wine merchant invited as president of the club, the Lisbonense Club for a football game. It was the first in the history of blue and white appearance.
In the books, pages yellowed by time, this is the oldest record of FC Porto activity.

The opening ceremony took place on 16 November 2003 with as most time the private meeting between FC Porto and FC Barcelona guest of honor
Opened in October 2013, FC Porto Museum presents itself as a cultural center that apart from the history of Futebol Clube do Porto also includes cultural valences.
With an area of 7000 square meters invites you to travel the 120 years of life of Porto, walking between trophies (200) and other vivid memories. There is a strong visual component with more than 200 videos, most of which are interactive. This museum was considered the most modern museum in Europe
